With more than 400 recordings, 3500 shows, 25 tours, 2 Grammys and four #1 Billboard hits under my belt, I feel totally at home when rocking a kit , be it for well known artists, indie luminaries, or emerging talents. Drums and percussion, live or in the studio. Pop, Rock, Jazz, R&B, Funk, Fusion, Singer-Songwriter, EDM, Folk, Country, you name it, I love doing it !
I've performed and/or recorded with platinum charting artists Alicia Keys, Rob Thomas, Sophie B. Hawkins, Taj Mahal, Debbie Gibson, Anita Prime, Willie Nelson, David Guetta, Slash, Bethany Joy Lenz, Sarah McLachlan, DJ Logic, Dweezil Zappa, Ashlee Simpson, Mercedes Ferrer, Lizzy Mercier, Taylor Dayne, Al DiMeola, Mike Stern, Rufus Reid, and Hiram Bullock, and featured on many albums alongside some of drumming's greatest names including Jeff Porcaro, John "JR" Robinson, Dennis Chambers, Gary Husband, Billy Cobham, Billy Ward, and Vinnie Colaiuta.
I've been honored with Grammy nominations for my drumming and music production work on albums by artists Kelly Saint Patrick ("In The Margins"), Jason Yudoff ("Tragic Hero"), and Project Grand Slam ("Play"), and for my drumming work on Alicia Keys double-Grammy winning hit single "No One". I have also appeared as an on-camera character on NBC TV's "Lipstick Jungle" alongside Brooke Shields, Kim Raver and Andrew McCarty.
I sincerely love great music, and welcome the opportunity to participate on your recording projects, live performances, or touring initiatives. I have multiple drumsets, 60+ cymbals and 40+ snare drums to chose from, as well as a huge assortment of hand and latin percussion instruments to accomplish any task requested of me. The passion you feel for your music is the passion I feel for my musical contribution, to always put my best foot forward by listening, by playing just what's right, and by honoring your confidence in me. Your fans are with you because of the pleasure your music brings to their lives, it is my utmost responsibility to help you project further this musical force that has resonated with so many!
For recordings, I am happy to track drums at your studio, at my studio, or at a studio of your choice inside or outside New York. I am available to record tracks for your project remotely if you wish, out of my professional multi-track studio where I can capture the sound of live drums exceptionally well and efficiently, with very short turnaround times . You send me a rough mp3 bounce of your song, I send you back a full complement of drum takes using 14+ microphones, as well as multiple percussion parts if you are in need. I am also happy to do a "mix" for you of the drum tracks, if you would like.
I am always willing and able to travel and tour nationally or internationally. I speak several languages fluently in addition to English (French, Spanish, Hebrew), and am happy to provide any assitance I possibly can to make both our musical and logistical experiene a better one !
