So this guy has a dream. Let's even call it a need. His name is Ron, people call him Blondie Boy. He really likes chocolate. And studios. And playing drums. He packs all his stuff into a lightning-white van, and makes his way 3000 miles from the top left-hand corner of the world so he can conquer New York and its musical beasts. All because of Miles Davis, really.
He hits Billings Montana. Miles dies. WTF !?!?! ... He's half way. What now ??
It's Miles who paved my road to artistic freedom... to Alicia Keys, to Dweezil Zappa, Rob Thomas, Lipstick Jungle and Debbie Gibson, Willie Nelson and David Guetta, and to countless other amazing and incredibly talented people that I have had the privilege of working with.
If you believe that creating great music is achieved in intimacy and not 1's and 0's, if you believe that walking the walk means that you have to know how to handle your instrument, your voice, your creative spirit and push the envelope of your dreams, then you and Blondie Boy are speaking the same language.
Your music is my music. Your dreams are my reality. ...Now, who's got my chocolate milk ?
