RON SIGNS WITH "BLISS" MUSIC MANAGEMENT OUT OF IBIZA SPAIN
Ron has signed to Bliss Management, a European-based firm spearheading recording artist and label initiatives. Directed by Adrienn Karancsi, Bliss has shuttled Ron to studios and musical adventures in Ibiza, Budapest, Rome (where he saw Leonardo Da Vinci's 350 year old portable keyboard i.e. the first keytar), Paris, Stuttgart, Marseille, Cannes and London to record produce and lay the musical groundwork on various projects with David Guetta, Slash, Warner Europe, AIAFF, and a handful of artists in Hungary. Next stop in October: Ibiza and Warsaw !
ANITA PRIME BREAKS INTO TOP-40 BILLBOARD © DANCE CHARTS, WINS A LAMA © LOS ANGELES MUSIC AWARD
Complicated, the third single from Anita Prime's debut album "Destiny", achieved the #3 Breakout spot (ahead of Adele and C&C Music Factory) on Billboard, and then remained there for 11 weeks.
La La La the album's first single won the 2011 LAMA Los Angeles Music Award for Best Music Video, and Anita was also nominated for Best International Artist. Ron's production and drumming work is featured on both singles and the album.
RON COMPLETES ANITA PRIME "DESTINY" ALBUM & WORLD TOUR, APPEARS ON MULTIPLE TV PROGRAMS WITH PRIME
Ron has recently completed the production of Anita Prime's debut album "Destiny", and has accompanied Anita as her musical director and drummer on several tours in 2011, including her native New Zealand, Canada, The Middle East, the 2011 All-Star Rock Tour across the USA with Joe Lynn Turner, Robbie Dupree and opening for Mya, on appearances throughout Europe including Picaddily Circus London UK, the MIDEM Music Conference in Cannes, The Opera House in Toronto Canada., Pianos in Oxford UK, and Duc Des Lombards in Paris, and on numerous national television programs in New Zealand, Canada, The USA and Europe including "Canada AM", "Nightline", "Good Morning", and a feature on "TV3 News".
Ron has recently produced and drummed on albums for a variety of artists... Beck/Mumford & Sons/John Lennon inspired band The Royal Canadians "Lonely Whale", the third album from Philly Hip-Hop fixture Traum Diggs "Major Journalism", Country/Pop artist Louis Copeland's "Roots" at Sony Nashville, Greg Merritt & Heavy Road's "Everything Changed" (which reached #10 on the US Jamband charts) at (Tony) Bennett Studios in New Jersey, Kate Bush/Feist inspired Isunray's "Balancing Act" in Wellington New Zealand, Alternative rockers Oh Hello's "One Trick Pony", and perennial TV and Grammy sensation Project Grand Slam's "Spring Dance" at Eastside Sound in New York, whose single (and remake) of "He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother" is screaming up the AC/top-40 charts.

Producing and drumming on Jason Yudoff’s newest album "Tragic Hero", Ron's work has garnered 4 apperances on the 2008 official Grammy ballot …for Album of The Year, Record of The Year, Best New Artist, and Producer of The Year. And Ron's drumming and drum sampling are featured on Alicia Keys top-10 international hit "No One", the first single of her new album "As I Am", which has been nominated for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance.

Producing and drumming on both Kelly Saint Patrick's "In The Margins" and Project Grand Slam's "Play", Ron's work appears in several categories on the 2009 official Grammy ballot ... "In The Margins" has been included for Album of The Year, Record of The Year, Best New Artist, Best Female Pop Vocal, and Producer of The Year. Project Grand Slam's "Play" has been included for Album of The Year, Best Pop Collaboration Accompanying Vocalist, Best Pop Instrumental Performance, Best Contemporary Jazz Album, Best Instrumental Composition, and Best Instrumental Arrangement Accompanying a Vocalist. RON APPEARS ON NBC PRIMETIME TV's "LIPSTICK JUNGLE" ALONGSIDE BROOKE SHIELDS, KIM RAVER & ANDREW MCCARTY
In early January, Ron headed into NBC studios for his on-camera role on the new weekly series,"Lipstick Jungle" starring Brooke Shields, Andrew McCarty and Kim Raver, with Cakewalk Records and AC top-40 charting recording artist Project Grand Slam. Five of the bands songs, co-produced by Ron with the legendary Frank Fillipetti, will also be featured on the show. The band has a recurring role on the program, as the husband of Brooke Shields's character on the series is a musician with a pop-jazz sensibility and a storied past. The band's premiere episode airs on March 6.

Ron's activities at Tainted Blue Studios continue to be fast and furious. Ron feels very privileged to be the in-house drummer for this unique studio and production environment located on 7th Avenue in the heart of Manhattan's Times Square on numerous recording projects and sessions there, with Kacie Sheik, Rob Thomas, Ali Lohan, Ashlee Simpson, Sebastian Bach, Alicia Keys, Debbie Gibson, John Legend, Eddie Kramer, etc. Ron has also recently partnered with Electric City Sound Studios in Victoria BC Canada, drumming on recording projects for artists Oh Hello, Daniel Levesque, Les Robot, Swollen Members, Paul Michael Worth, and many others.
